After you leave the Coasting Home office the sound of gravel under your tires as you turn off Highway One onto the private drive will be the first signal that you are leaving the rest of the world behind for awhile. The views are tremendous, thanks to the many rugged outcroppings. As the sea plays against the cliffs and submerged rocks, white water breaks in eye-catching displays from left to right, then back again. You can enjoy the setting from the bench–literally on the edge of the cliff!–or the hot tub, or just about anywhere on this perfectly positioned property.

Crafted in the mid-90s, “Dew Point” is an exclusive oceanfront 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom contemporary home. Careful attention to design details and comfort is evident in every room. The roomy kitchen has a 6-burner gas range and spectacular views. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the deck! Dew Point offers ample and gracious seating for dining or relaxing.

High-speed cable Internet is offered at the house, just bring your computer with you.

Master bedroom, with queen bed, opens to the oceanside deck and spa, where you can enjoy the awesome ocean views. The second and third bedrooms both have queen beds, with a sliding wooden door between the rooms.

The side porch offers an abalone or fish-cleaning station, an outside shower, and space to barbecue your catch of the day!

Ready for a long, tall Sea Ranch with a twist of Southwest? “Kiva” is the next best thing if you can’t make it to Sedona this weekend! Getting away also means losing some of those work-week boundaries; no cubicles or bustling lobbies here! Just open the large sliding glass doors, and enjoy the free flow from house to deck to hot tub to meadow and back again. Stunning architecture with soaring spaces, fantastic great room, super bathrooms are all found in this west meadow home.

Remember when cooking was fun and not just something you have to do? For those who want the occasional dining in experience, the kitchen is well appointed, and because it is wide open to the dining room, living room and the vast picture windows, it’s an easy place to spend a lot of time.

The living room has a variety of seating options depending on what you want to do. You might want to claim your window seat early on, and be sure to bring that book you’ve been trying to finish.

There’s a deck table for eating out coastal-style, and they even thought of an outdoor shower next to the hot tub! This just might be easy living at its best. The days will fly by, but that’s not all bad because that means the nights just arrive sooner. The evenings at Sea Ranch can be delightful, and the night sky is breathtaking!

Kiva offers two bedrooms (king and queen beds) and two roomy baths.

Kiva sleeps up to 4 guests, adults only. No kids and no pets please. And please remember the owners absolutely do not allow ab divers at this home.

The living room area provides plenty of seating and a propane fireplace, so that you can curl up on the couch and watch the ocean.

The den is located off of the living room, and has a large TV with a DVD/VCR player. The kitchen is every family’s delight, with plenty of counter space, a dishwasher, and tons of sunshine.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with great ocean views. Let the sound of the ocean put you to sleep.

The second bedroom offers a queen size bed with a forest setting, and a patio. There is a full bathroom located off the hallway between the master bedroom and third bedroom.

The third bedroom shares two twin beds and has a small forest view out the window. There is a second bathroom off of the front entrance hall.

The hot tub sits alone at the bottom of the house, where you can enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

Tidewood has a maximum occupancy of 6 people, kids are welcome, pets are welcome, and there is no smoking.

Just a mile up a dirt road, but light years from “reality!” A stunning, classy sanctuary on a rolling meadow, with orchard trees and expansive gardens.

“The Hideaway” offers soothing distant ocean views, privacy, deck with spa tucked beautifully amidst the garden, and lovely furnishings.

Two bedrooms, with a king bed in the master, and 2 doubles in the guest room. One bathroom with a shower, and a separate deep soaking tub. There is also an outdoor shower!

The large living room offers abundant comfort with ample seating, large wood-burning fireplace and big TV and VCR. The separate sitting room is designed for the bookworm and the nook napper. The calm and beauty of the gardens can be enjoyed through plentiful windows.

The farmhouse style kitchen is sure to please, with its old-fashioned gas stove, lots of workspace and a dining table big enough for the grandest feast. Also included are microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and a dual cassette/single CD stereo. There is a woodstove in the entry alcove, and electric baseboard heat.

Bring your family to Oden’s (chief Norse god) Ohana (Hawaiian for “family”) located just a couple miles north of Gualala. Come… Unwind…. Relax… or don’t. The beach access is just a short hike away, there are tons of hiking trails in the area and you can also kayak the Gualala river. This home is a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin with a shower stall in the master bathroom and a claw foot tub in the other bathroom. The hot tub on the deck also offers soothing blue water ocean views.

Enjoy some good old fashion family time. Read a book, watch that classic movie, or do a puzzle — there is comfortable seating for it all!

The spacious table on the deck also provides a wonderful eating area, with the door just off of the kitchen/living room.

Warm and peaceful, this cedar-built home is centrally located between Gualala and Anchor Bay. Gualala boasts restaurants, shops, galleries and groceries. Anchor Bay offers two restaurants, a great little market with huge wine department, and a marvelous beach. The deck has a hot tub, great furniture and a propane BBQ.

Seagaze is a modern cabin with expansive ocean views.

There is satellite TV/VCR, stereo with CD and cassette and a cozy woodstove. There are three bedrooms (king, queen and futon), two bathrooms, an open kitchen, and a living/dining room area.

The trail to the beach is just a short walk away.

Aptly named, “Pacific Vista” offers soothing blue water views of the ocean from this east-of-One setting. Deer, rabbits and wild birds inhabit this meadow-like area, and the rare and dramatic cove called Hearn Gulch is an easy hike away. The house is approximately 10-15 minutes north of Gualala on Iversen Road.

This is a spacious, relaxed and open single-level home that clearly invites the visitor to be at rest. The expansive greatroom holds a generously equipped kitchen, lovely dining area and very comfy living room. This all opens to the patio with a fantastic new hot tub. Perfect for easy outdoor BBQ-ing, dining, and gazing. Up to date furnishings and appointments make this the perfect home away from home!

The office provides a cable modem and printer for your convenience (you supply the laptop). Also in the office is a great futon which makes for easy sitting OR sleeping.

The guest room has a queen bed, and is just off the hallway from a full bathroom.

The huge master bedroom has a king bed, seating area, and door out to the patio. The ensuite bathroom is also very roomy, and offers dual sinks, and a large shower. This room enjoys the same lovely views as the greatroom.

Also included is a garage for guest use and a propane BBQ.
Your dog is welcome for an additional pet rent of $65.
